On Monday the 15th of June 2009

Mrs Dalal Al Duwaisan the wife of H E Mr  Khaled Al Duwaisan the Ambassador of the state of Kuwait is kindly hosting a summer lunch for the benefit of the AWA at their residence at “22 Kensington Palace Gardens London W8”. Admission fee is £50.00 and will be payable upon entrance. No cheques will be accepted from individuals attending the first time or people who are unknown to members of the AWA’s executive committee or the hostess. Please attend around 12:30 pm. We take this opportunity to thank HE Mr Khaled Al Duwaisan and Mrs Dalal Al Duwaisan for their generosity

On Friday 9th of October 2009

the AWA is re-organising the evening of culture “Let Gaza Live” which was being held on April 2nd 2009 but was unfortunately postponed because of the G20 summit. The event will be held at the Royal Geographical Society at:“1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR”. We will update you with the programme nearer the time. Tickets are £35.00  & £50.00. Front reserved seats are £80.00. Proceeds will be donated to the Red Crescent Society for the Gaza Strip and the AWA’s fund for Gaza.This event will replace the AWA’s annual dinner which is our main fund raiser of the year, hence, we urge our close members & friends to be generous with their donations towards this event and/or to reserve the £80.00 seats.

  1. On Sunday the 13th of September 2009

    the AWA is holding Iftar RAMADAN at Noura restaurant at “16 Hobart Place, Belgravia Street, London SW1”. Tickets will be £65.00 and your ZAKAT will be greatly welcomed. We will inform you of the exact time of the Iftar once we know it.

     

    May/June 2010

    the AWA is arranging a trip to Istanbul in Turkey. We urge members and friends to book way in advance as we need to know the exact number of passengers before we book the flights. We will announce an approximate price within the near future.
